Vodacom - What a joke

If I rate this god forsaken company zero I would.

Subject: Urgent: Immediate Resolution Required for Plan Migration Debacle

I pen this down not to maintain composure, but to express the justified rage and frustration stemming from the absolute debacle that is my recent plan migration experience. Prepare yourselves for a barrage of justified anger and frustration.

Imagine my disbelief when a Likeminds representative casually dropped the bomb that my current plan was on its way to extinction. What caught my attention, and rightfully so, was the claim that the new plan would miraculously cost less. Three times, I asked – THREE TIMES – if this was true, and the associate shamelessly confirmed it. LIES.

With a gut feeling that someone was playing fast and loose with the truth, I decided to confirm with Vodacom directly. Enter Lezaan, the bearer of bad news. She shattered the illusion spun by your ********* Likeminds agent, informing me that I would be forking out MORE than my current subscription. Outraged is an understatement.

I demanded Lezaan to pull the plug on the migration and attempted to contact your customer service team relentlessly. The cherry on top? I was gifted a reference number for the dispute – 183138 from Likeminds. A reference number for a disaster in the making.

But what did I get? A cheeky SMS celebrating the successful migration! Are you kidding me? The Likeminds agent not only dished out blatant lies but has also shown an alarming lack of responsibility in addressing this issue. I flat-out refuse to be a casualty in someone's desperate attempt to meet their stats through a web of deceit, all while disregarding the chaos their lies unleash on real people and real situations.

The entire month of November has been a relentless pursuit to cancel this damn migration. And what do I have to show for it? A grand zero. I DEMAND an immediate resolution to this nightmare, and I insist the migration be canceled BEFORE my hard-earned money is snatched from my account. Let me be crystal clear – this is NOT a reflection on Lezaan's work ethic. She's the lone warrior willing to assist, and this issue is in no way a stain on her competence.

On 30 April, for a second time, I received an SMS stating that my plan had been migrated without my consent or prior notification. Infuriated, I immediately contacted Vodacom at 06:53 in the morning in a frantic attempt to resolve this issue. After extensive back-and-forth, I was eventually called back by a manager who transferred me to the "relevant" department, promising that this egregious error would be rectified today. It's worth noting that this migration occurred without any prior communication – no phone call, no SMS, nothing!

Despite assurances of resolution, I find myself once again facing the same predicament. I am now being held liable for payment for a service I did not request nor agree to, and yet, there seems to be a glaring lack of concern for the financial implications on my end. I am sick and tired of dealing with this utter incompetence. I am irate and angry.

To add insult to injury, I keep hearing about ongoing investigations into these matters, yet they yield absolutely nothing. Meanwhile, I am left in a perpetual state of uncer*****y and financial strain. Despite promises of reimbur*****t for the initial instance, I have yet to receive any restitution. The repeated failures to address this issue effectively only serve to exacerbate my frustration and anger.

I demand immediate action to rectify this situation once and for all. The repeated migrations must be cancelled immediately, and I expect full reimbur*****t for any charges incurred as a result of these unauthorized changes. I will not tolerate any further delays or empty promises.

I insist that you treat this matter with the utmost urgency and seriousness it warrants. My patience has worn thin, and I demand swift and decisive action to bring this ordeal to an end.
