Vodacom - What a horrible experience !!!

My contract with Vodacom expired on the 4th of June 2016. I phoned the Vodacom upgrade number (***4) countless times since then to discuss my upgrade options and kept on experiencing horrible *********** service.

After considering my options regarding my contract online and deciding what I wanted to do, I assumed it would be a relatively simple process to adjust my contract accordingly. I decided that I want my contract to proceed on a monthly basis as I do not need to upgrade because I am still happy with my phone. As I understand the "Device Payment" should then fall away and my monthly installment will be less. The only thing I want to add to my contract is a recurring data bundle. Should I have the need to upgrade in future I can then do this at any time.

I communicated this numerous times to various consultants while I was transferred from one department to another as I was told that Vodacom is implementing a new system to deal with upgrades and contracts etc.

This was proving to be a nightmare. Nobody could assist me, calls kept on being dropped and I am still waiting for people who promised they would get back to me.

I am terribly disapointed in Vodacom. I was a loyal customer and always said that they were not the cheapest service provider, but their service was the best and justified the costs.

This was a relatively simple request and it still could not get resolved.

Good thing my contract expired, I will defintely consider other service providers.
