vodacom westwood

i refer to my correspondence below with Vodacom in Westwood Mall, after back and forth drama with regards to getting a device repaired, firstly they told me that we do not have insurance cover, but unbelievably the insurance is BILLED ON THEIR INVOICE TO ME EVERY MONTH. Then a total run around of back and forth because repair center emailed me telling me that they sent the device back to Vodacom Westwood because the "find my phone" was still active, so i send my son to go and deactivate it - which is what i was told to do. Son gets there, phone is not there, they have sent it back to repair center because it wasn't repaired - 12 days they have had it now - give me strength- no one communicates between the stores. I explain to METHAB over the phone, while my son is standing in the store, that i have an email telling me what to do - he extremely rudely, while i am in mid sentence hands the phone to my son and insults me, to my son. From beginning to end this store has been nothing but useless. Vodacom is a big name who just do not care because they are big, their staff unfortunately have the exact same attitude. Why not, if the big boss doesn't care, why should they.

Hi,

Please ensure before the device is sent back the find my iphone for your device needs to be deactivated, because iphones are usually replaced due to parts , if the find my iphone is still active we will not be able to proceed further, as these device are sent to the advance repair centre.

Kind regards

With regards to the iPhone xs Max that we booked in for repairs on the 7 July 2020. Attached please find the claim form, a copy of my ID and a copy of our invoice to show that we have insurance on this account.

I take it that this phone will be ready in a few days as it has been there for quite some time.

If you need anything else, please give me a call.

Regards, Simone
