Vodacom wants me to Pay R10k in repairs after 3 months of phone contract.

I have purchased the Nokia 8 online in Jan. I have had the phone for less than 3 months and the phone went dead, not charging, not coming on and now Vodacom wants to charge me over R10k for a new product because its un-repairable. How can a new phone go stone dead within 3 months. Is that not a manufacturing defect on its own. I have also tried to get hold of the Fourways repair centre and the store but it just rings. I will be reporting this issue as well to the consumer goods and services. I cannot seem to get any info with regards to this. My Job Card number is ********** 2. I need an urgent response and how you will be solving this issue. I am definitely not paying R10k for a new phone after using is for 3 months. This is totally unacceptable.

Vodacom still has not sorted this out. I have no time to pay for something I had for 2 months and then it just goes blank. Their customer services are bull****.
