Vodacom & VVM Debt Collectors harrassing even after account cancelled

I cancelled my month to month back in April 2019 on a telephone call and on email with Vodacom. Since calling in April 2019 no one seems to be able to trace the so called conversation between myself and the call centre sales person who apparently bound me to a new 12 or 24 month contract that I know I told them explicity that I didn’t want and knew that since my prior contract expired in 2016 I was in my full rights according to the CPA to go month to month and I called in April 2019 to cancel the account knowing full well I could give 20 working days’ notice as it was month to month and not a 12 or 24 month contract according to VODACOM.

VODACOM you are contravening the consumer protection act and have not found the telephone calls to prove otherwise and I know 100% that I requested month to month. Countless emails have been sent to Vodacom since April and no response nor any acknowledgement of my cancellation.

You now have VVM Debt Collectors calling me daily and threatening me. Also what gives them the right or how do they even get my step father and my mothers contact details as I never ever gave these details to anyone ever and you VVM are contravening the POPI act and should not be contacting people who have nothing to do with this issue.

VODACOM you need to check your records and refer to the call placed in April for the cancellation. I am done being harrassed by VVM with not so much as one word from yourselves or acknowledgement that you VODACOM are in the wrong and have not done due diligence nor do you have any customer service at all this is why I left you after being a loyal customer for 15 years I am done!!
