Vodacom voids the warranty

Hello Peter, I bought a Samsung A32 worth R4999 cash at Vidacom 4U on the 27th of September this year, on the 30th October just after one month my wife discovered that the phone is not charging, we tried two different chargers but still did not work until the battery ran out, the same day I took the phone back to Vodacom for you and explained what happened, they booked the phone for repairs and few days later I recieved sms saying that there is a quote I should accept or reject it, I went to vodacom repair shop and they told me that they discovered some liquid on the phone that voids the warranty on the phone, they told me that the job is R2700, I told them thats not true at all, the phone was never in contact with a form of liquid anywhere, they said due to that the motherboard got damaged and needs changing, I told them that the phone was working but could not charge, if the motherboard was the problem the phone would not have worked at all, they are lying just to void the claim, how can they expect me to pay R2700 on the phone that is only being used for one month? I want my phone to be fixed or get a new one or my money back.
