Vodacom Vodaworld Midrand Walk In Customer Centre

Vodacom customer is pathetic and useless and I don't expect any responses 3 weeks later. Below is my experience and the paper trail of what transpired.

Sent: Monday, November 14, 2022 7:22:55 AM GMT+02:00 Subject: Complaint About Poor Customer Service (Vodaworld Midrand) Good Day To Whom It May Concern: I am writing today to complain about the poor service I received from your company (Vodaworld Midrand) on 12 November 2022. I trust this is not the way your company wishes to conduct business with valued customers. I have been with Vodacom since 2002 and I have never encountered such treatment before. Short summary – The consultant at counter 8 (name unknown to me) advised me that there’s no LTE packages available over 20mbps. Should I require a faster speed, I would need to choose the fibre option. After me disputing this, she consulted with a manager and apologized for her mistake. Thereafter I was told that the 100mbps R999 package ZTE modem is out of stock and I would need to wait until Wednesday, 16 November 2022, to which I agreed. I was also told that the meaning of unthrottled is MBPS over 100mbps. The final nail in the coffin was when she told me that I don’t qualify for the contract as I am over indebted. She could not find the deal on her system, yet I get told that I’m over indebted and I don’t qualify. I was further told to pay up my accounts and settle outstanding bills before I qualify. Never in my life did I feel so humiliated and embarrassed. I did not want to interact any further, I got up and left. I am in good standings with financial institutions (attached is my credit report). I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this matter further and to learn how you propose to prevent a similar situation from recurring. Kindly advise what algorithms are used in determining who qualifies for which contract. Ticket number B208 I look forward to hearing from you. Regards

You tried calling me outside of business hours on a Friday at 19:40pm, did you honestly think that I am going to answer a call from an unknown number.

Your sincerest apologies mean absolutely nothing to me, the damage is already done. Vodacom's mandate is to make money, not great customer service.

Please read my initial email, I clearly stated that the store is Vodacom Vodaworld in Midrand, Noordwyk area.

Am I going to wait another week for a response.

Kindly explain how my query is going to be resolved. The damage is already done. I have lost all faith and confidence in the Vodacom Brand. As I previously mentioned, the customer care agent could not find the advertised LTE special on her system but it was advertised in the November 2022 booklet. I thereafter get told that I have been declined. Why was I declined, based on what criteria. I am not over indebted nor do I have accounts, apart from my bond and vehicle. The customer care agent had the nerve to tell me that I'm over indebted and I need to settle my accounts, based on what...........20 years of being a loyal customer, no defaults, no missing any payments, my track record will speak for itself, please check my profile with Vodacom. I am currently in talks with MTN to move over to them. I humbly ask to be left alone. Again I will say this, Vodacom's mandate is to make money and it never will be about providing good customer service.

Kindly advise why my query was closed without any written feedback if you couldn't get hold of me. I asked to be left alone, but I still expect an answer.
