Vodacom - Vodacom Insurance Fail AGAIN!
Vodacom Insurance Fail AGAIN!
On 19th January 2019 I submitted my Insurance Option Form for my new upgrade cellphone. I indicated my Option as Premium Band 3 (R63.00). I never received any feedback from Vodacom Insurance after my submission.
On the 8th February 2019 I received my monthly Statement from Vodacom and my Insurance was indicated as Premium Band 2 (which was the option of my previous cellphone). After numerous unanswered call to Vodacom Insurance, I finally gave up trying and decided to wait for my March Statement to see if the option had been correct or not.
On 28th February 2019 my cellphone was ****** and I was informed that my phone was under-insured and that I had to pay an additional amount above the excess payable for my claim (which, by the way have still to be processed). Today, 8th March 2019, I received my monthly Statement, and yes, as expected, the Premium Band option had still not been updated. It is still on Band 2 instead of Band 3.
I have written 2 previous reviews on Vodacom Insurance and was promised that my queries would be escalated. It seems that again I have only received "lip service" but NO other SERVICE.
When this problem will ever be solved, is anyone's guess. My honest opinion... Please stay away from Vodacom Insurance. As soon as my claim have been settled, I am 100% moving to a different service provider, and I advise anyone reading this review to do the same. Maybe when customers stop supporting this "NO SERVICE" provider, will things change. If I could cancel my cellphone contract, I would, but unfortunately I just signed up again 2 months ago. So I'll have to stick with it. The insurance however, that I will definitely change.
