Vodacom violating their own terms and conditions

I opened a contract with Vodacom on 14 April 2012. At this time, I paid a pro rata amount for the remainder of April. I renewed the contract less than 2 years later and the contract is due to end 13 April 2016 (48 months later).

I am now forced to pay for the whole of April and not simply a pro rata amount again. Their terms and conditions simply state that my contract will be 24+24 (for the second term) months long. It does not state anything about forcing their customers to pay for more than the contract period (if the contract was opened halfway through the month).

I had a telephonic discussion with a person who agreed that I can end my contract end of March as they do not do pro rata payments suddenly So I sent my cancellation agreement. Nothing happened at the end of March and now I have to still pay the full month because: \Please note you have received your data and minutes. \". Uhm, I did not want the minutes and data, I wanted to get rid of Vodacom!!!

Can't wait to move on to a decent service provider.
"

Déjà vu. Sitting with this problem again. This time Vodacom charged a full 25 months. At least I am finally rid of this low grade company.
