Vodacom victimization of ***** victim

I have recently begun receiving phone calls from Vodacom to 'discuss my account'. I have never had any dealings with Vodacom having been a MTN client for over 25 years. It has been established that a *****ulent Vodacom account has been opened using my name and RSA ID number in April 2023. Two new telephones were delivered to an address in Johannesburg (I am in Durban) and needless to say the account has never been paid. I have eventually comp**** with Vodacom's request to complete a sworn affidavit with the SAPS and present this with some other documents to their legal department to register a case of *****. Despite sending all of this to Vodacom as requested, I continue to receive almost daily calls about my account. Vodacom has a facility where accounts may be app**** for remotely and phones delivered by courier. Clearly security checks are not satisfactory and now I as the victim of ***** are being held to ransom by Vodacom for an account that has nothing to do with me. Vodacom your handling of this is utterly abysmal and seriously prejudicial against someone who is very clearly a victim of ***** which has been facilitated by your poor and ineffective new customer acquisition processes.
