Vodacom V-Up Summer Promo ****
****! Be aware a pair of **** artists who have managed to get hold of Vodacom cell numbers and is calling to say you have won loyalty prizes for being a long-standing customer. These guys are brilliant! There is no shame if you have been caught because they are so good. They even use a Vodacom number to ****f their incoming cell number: *** First you have to go to the legitimate VodaPay app and opt into their V-Up Summer promo. **Note to Vodacom: this promo ended 28 Feb 2025: why is it still available? You then receive an SMS from Vodacom saying you have entered. Check the sending number: it says "Vodacom". Then you receive another SMS advising you that you have been gifted a "enter fantastic prize, like iPhone" and you have met 70% of the "gift" fulfillment. After an incredibly believable chat from one of the ****mers (this guy calls himself "Allan" and he is a brilliant talker), you are transferred to "Ruan". (He is fully bilingual, but not quite as good as "Allen"). "Ruan" walks you through payment options and then when you are trying to pay online and your bank conveniently does not cater for payment via a "voucher", he then directs you to the "1voucher" app - also doesn't look like a legit sight. That is where I ended my call with "Ruan". 10 out of 10 for believe-ability, "Allen" and "Ruan". And adding the VodaPay app and legitimate Vodacom sms's mixed into the grift really sealed the deal for me. "Allen" and "Ruan": May you both rot in hell. Anyone who knows these two guys, make them famous.
