VODACOM - UTTERLY USELESS OR *******?

Why is Vodacom so USELESS????

After failing to get assistance from Vodacom consultant telephonically I took time off work to visit a branch and present the Power of attorney so I can find out why I am being harassed by a collection agency for R81.65. By the way this took 2 hours as the Vodacom system was unstable and kept going off line while I was at the shop.

The BEST part of this story is that the consultant in the store phoned cancellations and the query was dealt with telephonically! BUT PRIOR TO V ISITING THE STORE VODACOM COULD NOT ASSIST TELEPHONICALLY. What is wrong with you idiots???

The information given by Vodacom is interesting to say the least: On 28 February I called to cancel the contract(s) and was assisted by a lady who tried very hard to sell a lower value contract rather than process the cancellation. 1st Number – Cancelled on 28 Feb 2025 2nd Number – processed on 04 March 2025 for cancellation on 31/03/2025 3rd Number – processed on 07 March 2025 for cancellation on 30/04/2025 MOST IMPORTANT: INSTRUCTIONS TO CANCEL ALL THE NUMBERS WAS GIVEN ON 28 FEBRUARY 2025. PLEASE REFER TO THE RECORDING OF THE CALL. So why have they been processed differently? I can only think that Vodacom is dishonest and uses questionable business practices around contract cancellations. And in any case the amount you are claiming is not due as the contract should have been cancelled effective 31 March 2025, so actually VODACOM stole money out of the bank account.

If the cancellations were all processed on 28 February as requested then I would not have received 30 plus calls from a dysfunctional call centre representing a collection agency and would not have wasted 7 hours of my time on this ****.

BEST YOU SORT THIS OUT AND GET THE IDIOT COLLECTION AGENCY OFF MY BACK OR FACE LEGAL CONSEQUENCES.
