On the 30th April 2018 wrote a review regarding Vodacom listing me on the credit bureau. To date have still not had an correspondence or any one from Vodacom getting back to me.
December 2017 when to do an upgrade on my one contract to the special Vodacom was running for the of R299.00 per month. The consultant did a migration, what ever that might be. However she gave me the router, told me in 2 to 24 hrs it will be working and I must enjoy my new router.
In January 2018 I receive a nice bill of +/- R19 000.00 as the upgrade/migration was only done in January on Vodacom's Side. I phoned Vodacom explained to them that this is incorrect as the consultant did not say that I will be on my old contract for December still and how am I meant to afford this. They also didn't care that my old contract had a limit on it. So they were meant to cut me off when I reached this limit. That was'nt done either.
So firstly their consultant did not give me the correct information, only did my upgrade in January even though I did it at Lakeside on the 2nd December 2017. Did not cut my old contract when I reached the limit, did not send any notifications that I was out of data, etc.
Vodacom gave me a good gesture, for +/- R12 000.00, but I was still left with the balance. They did not care that this was a mistake from their consultant and that in all the 6 years that I had my contracts with them I have never spend these kind of amounts. Since January 2018 till April 2018 I paid over an amount to Vodacom of R2000.00. In April 2018 the suspended my contracts, forced me to pay all outstanding, which I did by the 13th April 2018.
On Monday 30th April 2018 I go to the bank, to find out that Vodacom has listed me with the credit bureau as in the arrears.
Since Monday till today, I have phoned, emailed, chatted on line to a consultant to try and get a letter from Vodacom stating that my account is up to date and all is paid with no success. No one seams to want to help.
So this is how they work, they make the mistake, yet you still get kept accountable for it, you pay every month money to them and they still go and stuff up your name. Then when you need them to fix this and help you, just by sending a letter, confirming that your account is up to date, they don't help. How difficult is it for a consultant/accounts department to type a letter and sending it to a person.
If I didn't pay Vodacom and I was a bad customer I would understand this!!! But I pay, I never complain and this is how a person gets treated.
