Vodacom used my banking details for a phoney deal

In October I received a phone call from a company offering Vodacom cell phone deals. I ordered a phone, but nothing arrived. On 26 November, I received a SMS regarding an order. On 27 November, I received another SMS regarding the order. On 28 November I received another sms and a phone call from RAM regarding the delivery. I was concerned as the delivery address is not one I use for receiving post. I was then shocked to find out that the company were trying to deliver a laptop that I had apparently ordered on 26 November. I have no recollection of this. I have also been through my cell phones call list, and no unknown calls came through for more than 7 seconds.

I then tried to apply for a cell phone deal at a Vodacom shop. The deal was not approved as the laptop deal was still in process.

I am worried that my banking details, home address and cell phone numbers were used without my knowledge and without my permission,

I am concerned that this is ******** as my personal information should be protected via the POPI act.

The reference number is K***

I emails the customer services, and received an automated email saying that they would address the concern within 24 working hours. This time has now lapsed.

The correspondence has the vodacom logo on it.

I am planning on opening a case with the police. If anyone can give advice on what to call it. *****?
