Vodacom Upgrades Misrepresentation

I would like to lodge a formal complaint regarding an upgrade processed on 15 May 2026 at 13:40 by an agent named Sam (surname not provided), who contacted me from Vodacom Rewards on ***.

During the call, the agent offered me an upgrade and I repeatedly requested confirmation regarding the pricing, contract term and overall agreement details. This can be verified through the recorded call.

I specifically and repeatedly asked whether the contract term was 24 or 36 months. The agent confirmed multiple times that the contract term was 24 months. Based on these representations, I agreed to proceed with the upgrade.

I have since discovered that the contract term is in fact 36 months, which is completely unacceptable and materially different from what was communicated to me during the sales call.

Had the correct information been disclosed, I would not have agreed to the upgrade as it would not be financially justifiable to me.

I request urgent intervention and a resolution to this matter, as I believe I was misled regarding the contractual terms during the sales process.

Please advise on the steps that will be taken to rectify this matter as soon as possible.
