Vodacom Upgrades done without me knowing from a Rewards company (Rewards)

so here is my story,

I have two numbers that needed to do upgrades but I did not want to upgrade until the month before the contracts end. for the past couple of days, I get the calls from a verified Vodacom Upgrade number, I assume to let me know I can upgrade the 2 contracts etc. I have declined the calls two times and on Monday, 29th April 2024, I decided to answer the call to here what they have to say, little did I know, it was not directly from Vodacom, the agents. and then she tells me, she spoke to me on Friday, 26th April, which I did not. as I have mentioned I've declined the calls and then this lady goes on and on about the two upgrades I can do.

I told her that I know I can do upgrades on two numbers, but I do not want to do it now, and she goes on and on about this plan upgrade that you get this more airtime but pay less for it. I kept telling her that I do not want the upgrades done now, but she need to send me the information and a quote to my email so I can go through the documentation to she what she is talking about.

Little did I know she went and process the so called quote I was still waiting to come through via email and still nothing. at 02:30 the morning of 30th of April, I've received an sms from Vodacom, to say that the two numbers have been upgrade on these plans, this lady mentioned, without me approving or even considering it. As my family members want's new phone when they upgrade as we always do.

then on the 30th of April I called the number this lady phoned me from and then it was not a number directly to Vodacom, but a rewards company named REWARDSCO. I tried to speak to a manager at this company and they keep transferring me to after sales at Vodacom.... I mean this company did the upgrade and I do not want to speak to the after sales, I want to speak to a manager / supervisor at this REWARDSCO company.

But what this lady did was so ********* and wrong just to go and do these upgrades without me approving and accepting it. As I have told her numerous times I will not do an upgrade with her but when we want to upgrade. She told me she understands and she still keeps babbling about the plans.

All she cared about was the commission she'll be making, without considering the clients wishes to not upgrade. I never do upgrades via telephonically, I always do them online as I know what I choose and what I'll be expecting.

I want these two upgrades cancelled as soon as possible as I refuse to pay at month end for the upgrades, if this is not done within the next two weeks, starting from 2nd of may until 16th of May, I will be cancelling all of my contacts and will not pay any cents to you for cancelling the contracts, that will be your fault due to that irritating company doing upgrades on behalf of Vodacom and I'll then move to MTN as they seem to be a bit cheaper then you.

I want to see on my Vodacom app that the two numbers that was due for upgrade, the "upgrade option" again.

if I can give you advise Vodacom, please get rid of this Rewardsco company as you'll lose may clients, due to them going above the clients heads to do whatever they want.

Vodacom, please sort this out as soon as possible and then if all is good on the two numbers, I'll consider staying your client, but at this moment I am still furious and a very unhappy client, due to that lady going above my wishes.

GET THIS SORTED ASAP.

PS: I have many friends that are Vodacom clients, I will tell them what happened to me and they will also cancel their contracts from you.
