Vodacom upgraded contract without consent !!

Vodacom upgraded contract without consent !! This must be *******. A woman from Vodacom Direct phoned me and informed me that i am due for an upgrade on both my contracts, she gave me some options my data contract will be a 15 gig but she never gave me options for a new phone on my normal contract, i asked her if i am upgrading now(during the call) because I don't want to do the upgrade now i want to look at phones first. she told me no i am not upgrading but she will send me all the info via sms and email before I upgrade, now i check to see me status and the Vodacom system it tells me my upgrade is being done, and i never gave consent to have it done
