Vodacom upgrade treated as a down grade

I have been to vodacom gateway I think it was last month for an upgrade as I am being debited 260pm just for airtime and insurance coz my term ended for my phone , just to be told of hand I don't qualify for a phone maybe just a sim deal by a consultant which I think is rediculous since i have over 30k a month salary and qualify for bond and vehicle finance.......i wanted to take a p40 but when they said I don't qualify for a phone contract I ended up buying the phone cash from another store, so I decided I'm going to cancel my contract with vodacom which I'm paying for nothing just airtime but I wrote this review for yourl to be aware of the issue and maybe future customers won't have this problem, I will still be staying on as a prepaid customer as I like the network but after this incident I won't be taking up any contracts with url
