Vodacom Upgrade Service Pathetic
I placed an online order for an upgrade on Monday 19/01 for a Huawei Ascend P7 on cellphone number ***. At the time I was given an option of either white, black or pink at a contract price of R 199 per month. I chose Pink as my wife will be using the phone and was informed that the upgrade will be put on back order as there was no stock. I received a phone call informing me that the pink phone has been discontinued and was given the option of taking a white one for R 279 per month. This is highly unacceptable and is not what was advertised. If the pink model has been discontinued, another colour should be offered at the price which was originally advertised and not at an inflated price. I entered into a contract for a Huawei Ascend P7 for R 199 per month. This contract needs to be honoured. An email was sent to [Email Removed] and [Email Removed] on 23/01/2015 to which I received a reference number 000W-W9EJ. To date no response has been received. I phoned the contact centre on 082111 and was sent from pillar to post. service as well as the service recovery has been pathetic. Where is my handset that I ordered? What am I paying for???
