Vodacom upgrade not what was agreed

Phoned Vodacom on 15/10/2021 to cancel my data line contract, because there's a required 1 month calendar notice, however i was told too early the contract only ends on the 16th of December , so i agreed and tried again on the 25th of October and then spoke to Nonkululeko who is part of a third party department called Rewards Co that handles the Vodacom over the phone / online upgrades . She asked why i wanted to cancel the contract and when told the reasons rep**** and i quote her words ( Its very hard to loose a customer so let's see what i can do for you in terms of a better deal) Anyway after she told me of a "supposed better deal at a better rate" i reluctantly agreed to proceed with it but to my surprise when i received the written agreement two weeks later was completely different to the offer i was told on the day. So i immediately proceeded to cancel the deal as it was not what I agreed to. Anyway Vodacom only accepts contract cancellations to be processed on the last day of the month and with all these problems i was forced to miss a black Friday deal as i didn't want to have one contract overshadowing the other, because i don't know what other problems are lurking in the shadows :-( Beware of third parties ( Rewards Co ) as they say one thing and do another.

Disgusted
