Vodacom Upgrade NOT !
Upgrades have gone to the dogs , this is the first time in many years of service with vodacom that when I upgrade I have to continue to pay installments on my old phone for another 5 months . Nobody told me that this will be the case with my next upgrade . What happened to the earlier upgrades ? Is this what we can expect from vodacom now , 24 month down payments on the phone , no early upgrades like I am used to . Really thinking of dropping my contracts with Vodacom and moving to a different provider . And the online upgrade needs work , theres no mention of having installments left on my contract . Had to find that out from the consultant when I went there to pickup the new phone , which I had to cancel because of the installments .

Thank you for the time and effort taken to voice your dissatisfaction to our office. It is with the cooperation and feedback from valued clients such as yourself that we are able to identify any areas of improvement within our organisation.
Please note that a handset instalment is payable for 24 months on the contract. Should the customer choose the option to upgrade earlier, they will still be liable for the handset instalment for the full 24 month period. Should the new upgrade also include a handset instalment, then the customer will be liable for the previous handset instalment and the new handset instalment until the previous one is paid up.
