Vodacom upgrade costing more in stead of less

I have been with Vodacom since 2006 and I have never had any major problems. I had a 5GB data contract with a rooter from vodacom up to when I got a call last year November to upgrade this contract. The call was from a company called Like Mind. They offered me 10GB of data and a new router at a reduced price. They also offered to upgrade my cellphone contract but I told them that I dont need a new handset. They then said if I dont take a new handset I can upgrade to more minutes and data for just over R300 - I used to pay R724. This seemed like a good deal so I agreed. The delivery company phoned me to deliver my new router and sim card, but the problem was I never took delivery because I did not have my ID with me. On the 23rd of November I got another phone call from one of vodacom's partners (I assumed it was the same one, I only found out today it was a company called Rewards) offering me a black Friday deal to upgrade my 5GB data contract and stay on 5 GB of data, but I would also be receiving a HP laptop at a reduced price. This seemed like a better deal than the previous mentioned 10GB deal so I advised the person on the phone that I already took another upgrade. He then advised me that if I haven't taken delivery yet the previous upgrade would be cancelled automatically. So I took the 5 GB deal with the HP laptop and took the delivery. Today after 2 months I decided to check my statement and discovered that instead of paying for 4 numbers I am now paying for 5- I only ever had 4 numbers. I also realized that I am still paying R 724 for my cellphone and not a reduced price. Instead of my vodacom account being less than half the amount that it used to be I am now paying almost double to what I agreed upon. Only after thinking things through I realised that they actually upgraded a free tablet that I got with my S7-3 years ago. ( I forgot about this tablet- I don,t even know where it is. And as far as I know the tablet was on a pre-payed contract- I never even got a statement for it). I was led to believe that they are upgrading my 5GB data contract because according to me this is the only data contract that I have. Now I have an extra contract that I am paying for. This is very concerning as I can not afford this and I feel I was ******* into this situation.
