Vodacom Upgrade
Upgrade was due in January 2020. I completed the upgrade online using the mobile App, which was on the 4 February 2020. Phone arrives on 24 February 2020...Here is my poor service received from Vodacom. On 4 February I received an sms to confirm the online upgrade. On 6 February, I received a telephone call from Vodacom stating to verify my order and, confirm my details and the call was ended with "the phone will be delivered the next day". The 7th of February, I waited until 15H30 afterwhich I had called Vodacom. Vodacom Customer Care stated that their online department does not know that they are out of stock on the particular phone and I need to wait for stock. I had called every week after that and all that was said to me was "we out of stock" but we will be getting in stock. My call to vodacom customer care was on 21 February, where I was told that there is not stock due to coronavirus...On 24th @07H30, I received an sms from Vodacom stating that my parcel was handed to the couriers. Straight after that I received an sms from couriers that my parcel was out for delivery...Confused as hell I tried calling Vodacom Customer Care to confirm this. All my calls to Vodacom Customer Care went unanswered and then my vodacom number was blocked from calling Vodacom Customer Care. Is this what is done to all vodacom customers that are trying to solve a problem...On 26 February, using a different number I called Vodacom Customer Care wanting to arrange a sim swop on the upgraded phone & sim that I had received. I get to the point of providing the sim number over the phone and next all I hear is "oops the sim is blocked but it will unblock within 24 hours". I asked what happens if it does not work within 24 hours and the consultants response was "It will". 24 hours later and guess what...the flippin sim card is still blocked...Vodacom your customer service stinks!!! puke puke puke
