Vodacom up to old tricks

Without saying as much, Vodacom's tele-operator called me a ****.

I was abroad for period mid-January to mid-May. I had my cellphone and SIM card with me but did not have International Browsing. The only time I could use my phone was when in a wifi zone.

When I left South Africa I had R86.90 in airtime. On my return I had R6.90. Vodacom's tele-operator refused to accept my word that I had the phone abroad with me. She insisted that I had given it to someone in South Africa to possibly use in my absence. This was definitely not the case.

Resultantly, I am R79.00 poorer, and Vodacom is R79.00 richer.

Definitely not the way to build good customer relationships. I am seriously considering a move to TELKOM. Their offers are far better than all the other providers.

A totally unacceptable reply, when the operator "called me a ****," and was not prepared to listen. Following Vodacom's written response to my complaint, my respect for the entity is at an all time low.
