Vodacom unRepairs!

My phone was booked three times already, currently the third time, for repairs and I am experiencing bad service from the Repair Centre, not even to speak about Vodacom itself.

The first time was due to a shattered screen: I got notified that my phone was fixed and ready for collection, but when I got there and turned on my phone, the screen was unresponsive - so that they had to reinstall the software. Indicating that I AM ONE HOUR'S DRIVE FROM THE REPAIR CENTRE!

After the repair, my phone's battery life decreased dramatically and eventually the battery swelled and I had to take it in for repairs again. Again, I got notified that the phone was fixed and ready for collection, but when I got there and turned on the phone, the screen pixelated and had to be booked in for repairs again, due to a faulty screen. The consultant adviced me that they got new Q&A's and their "testing machine" is new. Indicating again that I AM ONE HOUR'S DRIVE FROM THE REPAIR CENTRE!

I received notifications on the repair process for a while. One day, I received one that states that the repair has been cancelled and I need to contact the numbers indicated in the sms. I could'nt get hold of any of that numbers, not even the repair centre itself. I contacted the Call Centre and they advised me that the notification was sent out with fault and my phone is still in repairs. Suddenly, I recieved no notifications, so that I had to contact the Repairs Department. They told me that the phone is fixed and ready for collection a few days ago and that the sms notification system was deactivated, but they just activated it again for me.

I went to the repair centre, Sunday (19/02/2017), and the consultant told me she has bad news for me and again, my phone was not fixed and the technician told the consultant that it would be fixed by Wednesday (22/02/2017). I told them that I was unhappy and requesting a new phone, but unfortunately it is not as easy and spoke to the Assistant Manager about the situation. The Assistant Manager apologised and told me that she would keep me posted everyday regarding the repair, but did not receive anything from her as yet.

I would just like to know, what are you going to do about this matter? I logged a complaint by the Repairs Deparment within the process, but nothing is done about this. Can't the technicians test the phone before stating that the phone is fixed? Does anyone know how to do they job?

Everyone in Vodacom just give quick answers and responses to customers to get them off their back at that moment.

Please do something about this matter, a new phone would do, as I see it, you just break the phone further everytime it goes through repairs. For the inconvenience caused, I should receive accessories as well, the best strongest cover and screen protector. If it would just be so easy to cancel my contract, it would be even better.

FIX THIS MATTER AND YOUR SERVICE!!!
