Vodacom ********ly upgrades a contract after requesting Cancellation
I have 3 contracts with Vodacom and 2 of those contracts ended in June/ July 2022. Vodacom agents called asking if I wanted to upgrade the contracts and I refused telling them I don’t want to upgrade. Vodacom continued upgraded both my contracts( main , which is mine and the daughter’s ). I. called Vodacom immediately when I realised that both the contracts were upgraded even though I told them I don’t want to upgraded. Logged a grievance with Vodacom and after a while both the upgraded contracts were reversed which redeemed Vodacom as I never requested. Because of the constant harassment of Vodacom agents calling everyday to try to upgrade my contracts , I called Vodacom to cancel the contracts where I wanted to serve November only for Vodacom to inform me that my daughters contract was upgraded on the 21st October in store and I informed the agents that no one went to the store to upgrade anything as my time with Vodacom contracts has come to an end. I was promised that they will have a look at it but since is already the 1st of November no one from Vodacom has called with the progress of investigation. Vodacom looks like wants to force us to continue with their contracts even though I had been a client for over 25 years but this is low of Vodacom.
I want this contracts cancelled as I don’t want to upgrade and I was threatened that I might lose the current number I am using as I want to be put on put. I am prepared to even lose that number I used for years if they continue with this threats. Those two contracts upgraded were reversed around June now someone from Vodacom has ********ly upgraded my contract and when I asked which store was it I don’t get answers. Vodacom after I logged the complaint send an upgrade quote on Sunday night even though they said the contract was upgraded in store 21 October 2022. Please Vodacom cancel my daughter contract as no one requested that upgrade and November should be the last serving month
