Vodacom ********ly Takes R8000 from my account!!!!

In first week of October my bank called me to tell me that my debit orders had been returned due to no funds, which included my Medical Aid and Insurance policies, to name a few. I immediately went on online banking to find out that Vodacom had debited my account with an amount exceeding R8000 for data on my device that had not been switched on the entire month. I called Customer service and was told that they would log the complaint and it will be dealt with between 7-14 days!! I explained that I do not have that amount of time. I am a single parent and could not afford this delay. The lady told me there was nothing she could do! I called 7 days later to be told that the matter has been resolved and my Vodacom account is now in credit by this amount admintting that it was their mistake. I told her that I DO NOT want my Vodacom account in credit but my bank account! She assured me that this would happen within 7 days. Again I called 7 days later, after requesting a manager, was put on hold for 15 minutes and put back to customer service. The person taking the called understood my position, but assured me that the money would in in my account the following day! I also requested that I would be compensated for my bank charges and credit record being at stake. Today I called again to be told my Vodacom account is in credit and finally got to speak to a manager. He told me that there is nothing he could do but to send an email to the relevant department and would get back to me within the hour. I reiterated that my daughter has asthma and that I need my money in my account in order to buy her medicine. He assured me once again that he will follow up and call me within the hour with an answer. As Vodacom claims to record these calls every call should be on record. For the duration of my mobile account my account was administered by Autopage and I have never had a single hick up. Since the takeover the service is disgusting and clients treated with the contempt that I have been treated. I would like an answer, compensation and the money back in my account immediately, or I will take this matter to court. Not only have I spent hours on the phone wasting my time, but had to borrow money today to pay for my dauther's asthma medication. My debit orders remain unpaid as a result. SHOCKING that they are sitting with my money and leaves me powerless.

I have still not received a call or my money!! Being aware of the complaint does not solve the issue! This is the worst treatment I have ever received and I have been Vodacom customer since the inception!
