Vodacom ********* to increase contract prices.

I am shocked and angry that Vodacom decided to increase contract subscription fees on existing contracts.
What is the purpose then of having a contract that is binding for 24 months.
I feel a CONTRACT IS AN AGREEMENT between 2 parties on both the price and services, and that should remain as agreed for the duration of the contract period.
Any changes to the contract should only be allowed if both parties agree to the change.
This is now a new door opened of ********* methods to suck more money from consumers. So we can expect this to happen every year going forward.

As a vodacom client with an existing contract, I am not allowed to change the contract in my favour without approaching vodacom, and paying penalties,
why should they be allowed to alter the contract in their favour, without approaching us, and paying penalties !!

If this continues, vodacom and others should not be allowed to advertise or sell contracts anymore, because let's face it, there is no agreement anymore !!
Vodacom you have lost respect in my eyes for pulling this stunt !!
