Vodacom *********

I acquired a Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro on contract at a Vodacom store, knowing this to be a dual simm phone. However, on the particular phone that I received the second simm slot was blocked. I send a note to Xiaomi support who confirmed this to be a dual simm phone. Xiaomi's web site and also GSM arena confirms this. When I confronted the vodashop staff, it eventually surfaced that Vodacom blocks dual simm capabiity on contract phones. No logical reason could be provided. Tampering with and adulterating the original manufacturer phone specs is dishonest and *********, especially since from a consumer point of view there is no rationality or logic behind this .... it simply reeks of pure spite. Therefore, goodbye Vodacom, forever.
