Vodacom ********* business practice

On Friday 12 Feb I was playing vodacom daily shake and accidently tapped the purchase 10gig button instead of exiting. I immediately contacted vodacom spoke with Ayanda client services whom told me that vodacom normally do not reverse purchases but as a good will gesture and being my first time vodacom will credit my account. I followed this up with an email to *********** and recieved a response from Kelly May (customercare) stating vodacom will not reverse the purchase AND their records show I have already used the data. This is an absolute lie because immediately after receiving this response from vodacom I checked my data balance which reflected a 11.21 gig balance. I do not even use the full monthly allocated vodacom contracted data as I have uncapped fibre to the home. One may return a purchase from any shop including online like Takealot (whom I might add are excellent for aftersales service) for a refund or credit under the Consumer Protection Act simply because you changed your mind but vodacom is unwilling to reverse the charges for data unintentionally purchased. Having been a client of vodacom for the past twenty years including vodacom fibre to the home, I will be ending my relationship with vodacom at the expiry of my cell phone contract.
