Vodacom unable to answer my unsolicited OTP query

For the past few weeks I have intermittently - every few days, and usually two or three times in a five minute interval - received email and an SMS stating \Your OTP you have requested for resetting passwords is:... \". I have NOT been in a Vodacom app at the time, nor on their website. I am understandably worried that someone is trying to hack my account. My first disaster was calling Customer Service who told me to visit a Vodacom shop. I explained that a shop couldn't help, I needed online technical assistance. I was abruptly switched to canned music/sales blurbs until the call was disconnected after 8 minutes. So I tried contacting them via their website email. Still no response. And I just received yet another \"Your OTP....\" message. And who will get the blame if my account IS hacked? I have changed my password 3 times in a couple of weeks. Why can't Vodacom track the source of these messages?"
