Vodacom: Unable or unwilling to deal with ***** perpetrated on client's accounts

On 5 December 2017 there was a full admin block on both sim cards that is registered in my name. I immediately addressed this at my local Vodacom branch. After a time consuming couple of days I was advised the best way to deal with this is a sim swap, which they did (this was on 12 December). For 8 days I was unable to make or receive any calls and had to revert to a pre-paid sim. I then discovered that while my sim card was blocked persons unknown to me racked up a massive bill in data costs (in excess of R 11000.00) When I received this bill I immediately went to my local branch to alert them to this *****. Since then I have been passed from pillar to post and no resolution has been forthcoming. Vodacom keeps on trying to deduct money from my account for these ********** transactions and despite reporting it in mid-December when it occurred, I am no closer to getting this resolved. I have been a customer for the better part of 20 years and am disgusted by this treatment. I have jumped through all the hoops required by the ***** department, done all the affidavits etc, but it is impossible to speak to anyone to find out what is happening. I just get an sms saying my query is being looked at, all the while, they are trying to deduct money from my account. Is it so difficult to have someone liaise with the customers? Is this how Vodacom treats their loyal customers, with total indifference. All I ask is for someone to take ownership of this issue an assist me in getting this resolved.

Reviewer Update
It has been 6 days and no response other than the generic response above has been received. Surely it cannot take that long for someone to pick up a telephone or simply send me an email to let me know that this matter is being dealt with, and more importantly who is taking ownership of this investigation. Right now your responses are nothing more than placating irate customers
