[11/07, 16:35] Lorna Nardin: Sent: Thursday, 07 November 2024 14:27 To: 'Legal Specialised' <***>; '***' <***>; '***' <***> Cc: '********' <********>; 'Nomsa Nthodi, Vodacom' <***> Subject: RE: Vodacom *** Renita Nardin

Dear Vodacom

I write to you once again for the ********* conduct from your company. After many months of challenges claiming to have a cell phone contract with your company taken in 2021 combined with my fibre service which was taken years apart from the Vodacom contract I still find myself in a battle group.

I don’t understand your ignorance with each consultant providing different information nobody seems to know what this this contract on my name is all about. Below is your message sent to me from Customer care Gugulethu Dlamini. Please read and read again while we are busy with our complain to the various organisations.

Hi, please note that the ***** investigation on your account has been concluded. Your account has been rectified and you will receive your refund within 7 to 10 working days. Further Together, Vodacom.

Kind regards, Vodacom Customer Care Gugulethu Dlamini, this message was sent to me 24th July at 12:46 on *** which has been my cell phone number for the past 20 years.

My daughter was also informed that the fibre will not be effected until the recording from the time of the contract was taken. I further wish to inform you that from 2020 to 2022 I was unemployed my uif documents is intact for the period of time. I wish to inform you if the fibre is not connected by the close of business today a ***** charged will be opened on each person we communicated with, I ask that you urgently refund the three years contract funds that you *****ulently debited my account without authorization for the Vodacom debit. To many stories about the ***** your company committed I can write a complete book. My time, my money, my energy and sacrifice to get this contract removed will definitely be upon Vodacom while we preparing to defend this matter. Yesterday I also paid R800 toward this account I don’t have anymore funds to deal with your bad conduct.

I will give Vodacom till the close of business to reconnect the fibre service while your company is busy with their part.

Thank you & Kind Regards [11/07, 16:35] Lorna Nardin: Vodacom - Issuing of *****ulent contracts. It came to my attention a few months ago, that I was being charged an additional amount by Vodacom, I have a fibre contract with them and have been paying it on a monthly basis for many years now. However on investigation as the amount that they were charging me was higher than it should be, I discovered that I was paying for an additional contract for a phone that was neither delivered nor received by myself. During COVID I never took out any additional contracts as we were not sure of the status of our world with the pandemic, also none of us were working and there was no income coming in. I run a small travel business from home, however the world was on shut down and all travel was suspended. I have been trying to sort this matter out with Vodacom for several months now to no avail. I was advised by Vodacom that a *****ulent contract was taken out in my name, supposedly the phone was delivered to my address, this did NOT happen. I have been paying additional fees for 3 years now. I received confirmation from Vodacom about the ***** and have been advised that a refund would be done. To date this has not happened and I am not having any luck getting Vodacom to advise me on when this will take place. To top it all off, Vodacom suspended my fibre yesterday (which is paid up to date - as we use this for the business) and are now advising that they will not be able to assist me until I pay them for this *****ulent contract.
