Vodacom *****ulent applications by door to door salesman
On 20 May 2023 a Vodacom door to door salesman asked me if I would be interested in the latest promotion of cheaper Vodacom Fibre. I informed him that I am happy with my current service provider and not interested. he asked if someone from Vodacom can contact me and explain. I agreed and he asked for my cell number and name. I am a current Vodacom customer with my cellphone contract. On 21 May I received an e-mail from Vodacom that my application for Fibre line has been approved - note I DID NOT do an application. I contact Vodacom on 22 May and told them that the salesman committed ***** and they must please cancel this order. Vodacom telephonically and via e-mail confirmed that it has been cancelled. Today; 23 May I received an SMS from Vodacom to inform that my order is on its way via RAM couriers....what order? What are you sending me?? I also notice the invoice added to my cellphone interim bill. I sent another e-mail today to inform that this is ***** and needs to be cancelled. My reference number for the cancellation is SR***
I am still receiving SMS's after the interaction with vodacom and confirming that it was cancelled. The SMS's are confirming that my Fibre has been set up and it is also added to my vodacom statement. Please sort it out today
