Vodacom *****ulent Account opened in my name and just miraculously is settled and closed with no feedback

A Vodacom contract was opened in my name without me present. My bank account was debited(which i reversed) and invoices sent to me, again i did not even open an account with them.

I logged a request with customer care and no one ever came back to me.

I then had to dig around to find out how to report this ***** and eventually got the ***** email address.

I stated my case and all i got was a response asking for my signature and id. There after i was informed the account has been closed and all outstanding amounts have been settled.

I then repsonded asking: - who settled this account if it was not me - how was this account opened with out me - how was a debit order on my bank account approved with out me

etc This is alsoi scary because i was a client of Vodacom many years ago so could this be and inside job.

I have received no response from the ***** team and no one has ever called me about this. Just a response to say account closed and settled
