Vodacom turning into ESKOM

Quick question. Is Vodacom turning into Eskom. I just received a message that Vodacom users are going to pay from the 1st of April 20236.7% more for subscription plan. There reason is vandalism and theft. That is unfortunately not my problem. Why must I pay more, I receive poor service anyway. When we have loadshedding we do not have cellphone reception. Why do we let companies in South Africa bully us into increases. I did not sign a contract that gives you permission to raise my installment due to infrastructure loses.
