Vodacom trying to ***** my money

my name is Alphonsina, i was a vodacom customer for many years since 2000 with a number of *** and use to love it very much until i recently experience a shock of my life with them i took a contract phone with vodacom in 2022 the agreement was for 12 months they were deducting from my salary for the period of 12 months after 12 months they stopped but then i was told i own them around plus or minus R1200 so i made a payment monthly to the Vodacom store until i was done . last year 1st JULY 2023 i was out of service when i contacted Vodacom they said i own them R300.00 because i did not stop the contract and i disputed that it was their duty to stop the contract and they said i had to stop it myself, that is why they have deleted my number of *** from their system at the time *** was my whole life and i was told to go to the other service providers to go and check if that number doesn't appear but cellc didnt have my number and Mtn didnt have my number I was heart broken it felt like my whole world is shutting infront of my eyes so I started from fresh with the number *** . today I was called by VVM attorneys on behalf of Vodacom for the collection of R1017,33 and followed up with the sms and now I am shocked to learn that Vodacom wants to take my money R1017,33 of a sim that they blocked and deleted from their system and for the contract that ended long ago.
