Vodacom Trying to Make Fools out of Customers

I was told by the retention department (***) that they can give me free 1GB internet for 24 months if I just didn't cancel my contract, so I asked for more detail. This is what I got:<br> o Galaxy Note 4 - R 429<br> o Smart M - R 299<br> o 1GB extra data - Free<br> o Sim Insurance - Free<br> o CLIP - Free<br> o Total: - R 728<br> <br> Then just to compare I phoned upgrades and got offered the following deal:<br> o Galaxy Note 4 - R 300<br> o Smart M - R 299<br> o 1GB extra data - R 129<br> o Sim Insurance - R 5.70<br> o CLIP - R 9.50<br> o Total: - R 743.20<br> <br> Now my question to Vodacom is this: Are you deliberately trying to make a fool of your customers or is this an example of incompetence?
