Vodacom trying to dupe me into paying for a contract which should have lapsed by saying it is 36 months and not 24 months.

I currently have a 24 month contract with Vodacom which began on 4 September 2019 and was due to lapse on 4 September 2021 but when I called the call center to cancel my contract at the beginning of August, I was told that it is 36 months, which is not accurate at all. I then called the contract department again and spoke to a lady by the name of Jordinah, who asked that I send her my contract via email and she would get back to me within 3 to 7 business days. I sent her the contract agreement for reference on 23 August 2021 and until today, I have not received any response from her or anyone from Vodacom even after sending numerous follow up emails. She called me on 2 September but did not give me an update and said she would call the next day and till today she is not responding to any of my emails and hasn’t called me back.

I will not be paying for a further 12 months on a contract that was supposed to have lapsed and been canceled even after providing proof of it being 24 months and not 36 months.
