Vodacom truly pathetic

I have been looking to upgrade or downgrade my cell-phone contract with Vodacom. Whilst on holiday in Durban I visited a Vodacom outlet to investigate - found a good deal - but 3 days later when I wanted to engage the new package - Vodacom had cancelled the package?? On Friday 27th Nov a gentleman Nadeen phoned me from a Vodacom Durban number to discuss packages -he said he would phoned me back Monday 30th ( as I was busy) - the phone rang on Monday but we lost contact shortly afterwards - he did not bother to phone back On 30 November I went into Vodacom Fourways to change my 24 month contract package - Thabiso helped me and I decided on a package . Today 01 Dec 20 - Thabiso phoned me to say that the reduced package could not be initiated today as there was a pending sim card swap problem?? I have never heard of anything like this and certainly have never been contacted by Vodacom in this regard?? In addition a lady phone me from Vodacom Durban number - the phone went dead - she did not bother to phone me back either. Maybe this is a Vodacom ploy when you wish to reduce your package and they would like to make you pay just one more month at the higher rate? Coupled with the fact that internet connectivity and voice connectivity have drastically reduced over the Hartbee****rt area and in many other places over the last year , and the evident lack of customer care and the lack of continuity of their products/ packages , one wonders if Vodacom in fact have personnel with the capacity to carry this business forward to the future Truly pathetic
