Vodacom *********s

If I could give a negative star rating I would. I have been a Vodacom customer since I owned a cell phone and I have changed numbers three times however each time I would use Vodacom. I have taken out a contract with Vodacom In 2014 for the note 3 I after the second note 3 got an iPhone cash on 2016. When my iPhone stopped working this year I bought a Huawei p8 lite cash. In July was contacted told I was gonna be given free phones 2 Vodacom kicks pphoned. since I have been with Vodacom I thought I probably deserved some sort of appreciation. I got the two phones and the voucher I did not use either. I had called them to cancel and they were understanding the guy collected the phones he told me it would be cancelled and I would be called and quote a reference number which he gave me. To this day Vodacom has not called the only called to say my account is in arears. Now what I don't understand is that I did pay without using the phones for the period they were in my possession and I was charged a connection fee for sim cards that were never opened. When I inform them of this I am told to go to the police station for an affidavit. My issue is I never asked for the phonesand they are phones I wouldn't ordinarily go to the store and get. It has become my problem cause I have to go to the police station. The courier guys are ill informed and I now have to pay for arrears cause I was not told that I would need to call to cancel. This was the worse experience I have ever had with Vodacom. Vodacom we were fine before you involved other people. Now I want to get a contract and I can't cause of this particular issue. Vodacom needs to make these arrears dissapear since you have gotten money from me for service that were not rendered. I did not use the airtime the voucher or the phones yet you feel entitled to my money pastering me about arrears. To me that is trickery.

As it stands I am currently on the phone with Vodacom. For 16 minutes and counting using my work phone still trying to get the issue resolved. I was told that the lines ,even after the debt was s****ped off , are still active. It is still a pending issue months later. Let me re-iterate. If and when I want a contract I know where vodacom is... I didn't sign up for this
