Vodacom Trap

I have never experienced such poor service in my 25 years doing business. Beware of this trap when upgrading your contract . It has happened to our company twice in one year! The problem starts when the iStore in Walmer Park fails to mention that the contract they are signing you up for is not capped. They tell you here is your new modem with 1 gig of data but fail do tell you that the contract is not capped in other words once you use the 1 GIG without warning users rack up a 'shock bill', this time around R20K (data charge). That is only the beginning trying to resolve this with Vodacom will drive most people completely insane. I have decided I will not put myself through any further pain and if this does not work i will no longer require the services of Vodacom.

Thank you for the time and effort taken to voice your dissatisfaction to our office and for allowing me the opportunity to assist. It is with the cooperation and feedback from valued clients such as yourself that we are able to identify any possible improvement areas in our organisation.

Dear Ragmah, Thank you for your mail and assistance. It is correct that our lines have been unlocked this morning and we where advised in writing of this occurrence by Moeriedah Fredericks, we however have not received a response from Moeriedah with regards to the disputed amount of R19800-97 on our business account and as such do not know what is the status of the account and if in fact the matter has been resolved. I emailed Moeriedah my contact number *** and would appreciate a call to clarify. Kind Regards, Carlo da Costa

Dear Ragmah, I have received a statement of my business account and three credits have been passed on the 27/03/2018 with a total of R19659-98 (disputed amount R19800-97) two invoices have also been debited on 27/03/2018 totalling R1746-00 which I am not sure what for? I also requested a reverse of re-connection fees charged to my account since this dispute was raised which already total R480-00 plus any re-connection charges in March (several reconnections happened in March.) Many thanks for your assistance and for restoring my faith in Vodacom.

Dear Ragmah, thank you for your assistance, we have not received a response to our most recent correspondence. Whilst the matter has been partly resolved, you will see from the latest private correspondence that it has not been resolved entirely. I look forward to hearing from you and thank you once again for your assistance.

Very disappointed not to hear back from you! Where to from here?? Surely you don't expect me to log another dispute with your absolutely *********** customer service channels. As a matter of principal I will not pay the data invoices added to my account without my permission and I await a credit of the several disconnection fees charged to my account since December when the shock data bill was received. Whilst I am grateful for the reversal of the majority of the data charges I am still at a loss to the tune of almost R3000 which is not acceptable.
