Vodacom: Totally Unbelievable.

Here's my Vodacom story. Read to the end then tell me if I am being victimised by Vodacom?

a) I converted to Pay As You Go as at 1 December, buying airtime and data in cash. The conversion was successful, my contract had expired and I had to switch the phone off overnight to do it. Done. In December I go a taped message that I owed them R5000 and a few cents for data usage. I called them. Many times. They cannot say what this data usage is and since I was on Pay As You Go, how it was possible to have this. Collections Department says it's Accounts, Accounts says it's Cancellations, Cancellations says it's Collections. And round and round we go. They have my Dispute logged. Yesterday I received an e-mail from them telling me my 'Contract' is being changed to a Top-Up. (Remember, I'm not on Contract, and Vodacom says they can see I am Pay As You Go.) No help, no reprieve, many calls a day and threats aimed at me. No resolution.

b) Vodacom keeps *****ing my airtime and data. Three times now. Yesterday I received a birthday gift of R55.00 airtime (plus R27.00 free for purchasing the airtime), and 100 mbs data. I had 500 mbs data. Within five minutes all my data and airtime disappeared. I called Vodacom and, again - 3rd time - they tell me I am subscribed to VLive. I'm not. I googled VLive - it allows you to 'watch celebs talk live'....say what? Vodacom says they can see I have complained about this before and since it wasn't resolved they would look into it and return my airtime and data 'within four working days'. So I can't even get my birthday messages on my phone. To make this story more bizarre, before putting the airtime in yesterday I sms'd 'Stop All' to Vodacom and received the sms that states I am not subscribed to any service. I never was. Yet Vodacom keeps taking what little I have.

c) Here's the most bizarre one. I have been receiving Spam e-mails from three different addresses for loans and other nonsense. I clicked on them to Unsubscribe because they don't stop and .....the Unsubscribe took me to a Vodacom page that says my account is in arrears! Say what?

I believe I am being harrassed in an ******* and traumatic way. Any ideas how I can resolve this (apart from moving to Cell C, I want to make Vodacom suffer as they have made me suffer....imagine, it's my birthday and they even took all my airtime (over R70 worth) in one foul swoop so I would not be able to see my birthday messages. On top of that I have been diagnosed with cancer, had three operations and currently undergoing chemotherapy and lost my job so unemployed - facts I have told Vodacom but they don't stop! The stress of all this is ****ing me!)

Help, anyone?
