VODACOM TOOK MY MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT AND ALL MY ATTEMPTS TO SPEAK TO ANYONE ARE FRUITLESS

Sometime in April I wrote a complaint about a phone that I took in for Software update and was charged almost R800,00 for the upgrade whilst the phone was still under Warrant. Being a Vodacom Loyal Customer I am very dissapointed with the way they just think they can take money from my account because of a debit order in place.

In an attempt to correct my dissatisfaction as per the above scenario, after very long fights, vodacom offered to refund me the money that I had paid to have my software updraged, the refund of which I recieved around the 17th of May. Now this month end they just decided to add the refund to my current bill and they took it away from me again via a debit order that I have in place with them for my monthly repayment for my monthly bill. Efforts to resolve this or to speak to anyone in Vodacom are fruitless. They took money for my son's school fees and they do not want to at least acknowlegde my request for them to pay back the money. My son is not attending school as we speak because of non payment of school fees. Everything is well with Vodacom because it is not them who has been inconvinienced. it is really not fair on me because I have been very loyal to Vodacom. I have about 8 contract lines with them and I have never skipped a payment. At the end of the day they treat me ike this.

I urge Vodacom customers to cancel debit orders on their accounts because one day you will work up in the same shoes as I am today. They can take money from your account anytime they want to as long as it suits them.
