Vodacom too lazy to fix their accounts

On 10 July 2018 I received a letter of demand for my Vodacom account. On 12 July 2018 I settled the amount in full and requested the account to be settled.

Today, 18 January 2019, I noticed that Vodacom NEVER closed my account and on 15 July 2018 actually handed the account over to the credit bureu Experian.

The attorneys have aknowledged that the account is settled and requested Vodacom to update their system but even VODACOM attorneys now indicated that Vodacom is in error about this account.

I have the proof of all the communications. I contacted VODACOM collections department and they confirmed the account shows fully paid and closed, yet they still handed the account over to the credit bureu as "OPEN" and "IN DEFAULT".

The Customer Protection act states that this is *******.
