Vodacom to be or not to be?????
Goodday To Whom it may concern:
I have been an mtn prepaid customer for many years and decided that I want an contract phone and upgrade to a decent smartphone and decided that I would take up a contract with Vodacom.
After looking at some of the devices and plans that vodacom was offering I choose a plan that would best for me and to make things easier i app**** online and received conformation email stating that only credit vetting needed to be done and verified then my package will be handed to couriers for delivery.
A few days went by and haven't received any communication from Vodacom I decided to give them a call to find out the progress of the device, i was told by the consultant that the application needed to be vetted to see if I did qualify for the contract deal, I agreed for credit vetting and was approved even received an email confirmation that i've been approved Vodacom.
I obvouisly was very delighted about being approved and then the consultant started to explain the contract and told me about that this device would be on an open line so when my data and minutes was depleted i will still enjoy my device but will receive a bill every month for data and minutes that would exceed my package deal, so after that I told the consultant just give me time to think about this and was advised by the consultant that i can phone back any time to continue with the contract.
So the next day I phoned and confirmed that I'm accepting the quote, the consultant was very eager to finalized the deal after completing the security questions the consultant communicated to me that she would not be able to assist me because I need to finalized contract with the first consultant that did the vetting of the sale, I had no problem with that until the consultant told me that the consultant who did credit vetting is not at work so I need to wait until she's back at work but she will phone me back, already disappointed now I accepted that I will wait for the consultant to phone back, days went by and didnt get any response from the consultant, I phoned Vodacom again and explained the situation and the the consultant that i talked to is at work but could not take my call but in anyway i need to apply again because the system cancelled the application that was approved cause it needed to be submitted 48 hours after it has been approved otherwise the system cancels it automatically, and even if I apply online now I won't be approved again and that I need to go to vodacom store and apply there, i told her its not acceptable and the fault is on Vodacom side and I want to speak to the teamleader or supervisor in charge of sales and was told he is on lunch he will phone me back when he comes back from lunch im still waiting for him to come back from lunch since it has been several days and still no phone call.
And worst part of all i agreed to port my current number to Vodacom seeing that I'm gonna be a Vodacom customer now, but after getting no response from Vodacom I accepted that I'm no longer gonna be Vodacom customer due to the system that cancelled my application automatic, and take a guess what happens yesterday, Vodacom wants to port my number to there network. Really Vodacom is it to be or not to be thats the Question??????
We reached a new fantastic year with new life and new adventures but it seems that Vodacom still giving terrible service?
No phone call or any communication to resolve the issue on hand???
REALLY????
PLEASE JUST SEND AN AUTOMATED RESPONSE AGAIN, DEAL WITH THE MATTER ON HAND.
Thanks
