Vodacom thievery!!

Peeps, be very careful not to be conned like I was by Vodacom! Extremely good ****** sales rep called to say that Vodacom would like to reward me for over 20 years of loyalty by "Gifting" me with 2 devices, a phone & tablet. I was sceptical as my gut kept telling me that there is nothing for free in life but after asking the ****** about 10 times if he was sure that they were gifts, he convincingly told me they were & that I would see once I had them! Well surprise surprise I have been locked into a 2 year contract which even after speaking to the CEO's office, they refuse to listen to my complaint. I had requested that they pull the tapes to prove my point but guess what....they can't trace the recordings???? soooo it's now to the consumer council & hopefully through this post will also warn people against these thieving practices by Vodacom & hopefully stop anyone interested in switching to them, not to!! Can't wait to cancel my current 4 contracts once they come to an end! Advice from everyone on the best network to look at when I get to that point please!!!
