Vodacom Theft
OMW here we go again. Bought sim card for a vehicle tracker of which I have a few. however this one just startet deducting R5.00 every once in a while. I get data usage for video etc. although it is impossible. ***?!!!! How many people are getting "conned" into just paying without knowing for what. On my account it does not specify what it is for. The number 082135 for queries just not allow me to query this?!!!! Do I need to get HAWKS to investigate....

11 Nov 2024, 11:42Finally got through to a very helpful person. The monies disappearing is someone did a SIM SWAP and is skimming "airtime Advance" amounts of R5.00 daily and sometimes twice a day. Nothing I can do. I just disabled airtime advance but the damage is done.
In order to claim it back I must take the sim to a Vodashop... Regtig? Whats the purpose of RICA and FICA?

21 Nov 2024, 18:14It finally seem to be sorted. No recent R5.00 deductions. Still baffles my mind that Vodacom cannot trace the reason or recipient of the R5.00 deductions!!! The new App very "Aptly" named VodaPay :-)
