Vodacom the worst in data consumption

There are many things that I regret in my 34years of living, currently at the top of that list is getting a Vodacom 80gig (50 peak 30 night - it was a 20 gig special I think). I switched from Cell C's 40 gig (20 peak - 20 night) to this because my day time data would finish around the 25th of every month.

I supposedly get 50 gigs from Vodacom yet it lasts as long as 20 gig from Cell C. I inquired about this and I was told stories that do not make sense, I mean nothing has changed, except for the fact that I switched networks.

This month has been the worst the 50 gigs lasted 15 days and yes I have been using it a bit more but 15 days. I cannot wait for this contract to finish and I will never ever do business with Vodacom. The sad thing is that I read so many negative reviews about Vodacom's data, I regret not checking them out before putting my signature on a 24-month contract.

I am left with just over 12 months now and I can only wait for this misery to drag on.

If you know what is good for you, you will take my advice and stay the hell away from Vodacom data contracts that are capped. Consider this a fair warning.

(Guys I am no expert in these things but I expect 50 gigs to outlast 20 gigs when the usage and type of network (4G) is similar.) - Oh and their night thing ends a 05:00 everyone else ends at 06:00 but Voda ends at exactly 04:59:59,

my next step is to try and negotiate to go to uncapped data without extending the contract if that is possible.
