Vodacom. The worst company I have ever dealt with.

I have been a Vadacom customer for many years. However, their charges have become so extreme that I was forced to get a dual sim phone through Cell C(Vodacom do not do these as they are clearly insecure about losing clients. As they should be). I needed to keep my number for work purposes.

I renewed my Vodacom contract midway through 2016.

As I already had a new phone(thanks Cell C) I did not need another phone so I therefore stuck with smart L package but because I did not get a device I got double airtime , data and sms. Great. Or so I thought.

I paid for sms balance notification and am still paying for it. This means you get a daily sms giving you you airtime, data and outstanding balance. A great way to keep track of your balances to ensure that you do not get R3500 bills. Unfortunately these just stopped. Vodacom ****s us by charging R2 per meg. A simple video costs us R200!!! I use data for email for work as Im always out. I ended up with A good few months with bills of over R3000.

I phoned then. Repeatedly. In the last five months I have contacted them at least 30 times. Each time you hold for at least 15 minutes. Most times y

they simply cut you off.

They removed my voicemail.

They next removed my incoming cliand as a result missdiagnosed faults at my clients.

They told me to use the app. For a month it kept telling me I dont exist.

They then changed me to a topup package. I could not get hold of my son because I could no longer send him airtime. I could do my work at a client after travelling all the awy to Nqeleleni as I could not make calls and had no data.

They then changed me to a standard smart L package. No double anything!!!!!

They said in October it was sorted. Next month R1500 account. I was charged for calls after when they assured me that I would not.

I went to the store for the third time. What a surprise. According to them I renewed my contract AGAIN on the 2 October (after 4 months of renewing it) and sorry Mr Ferreira you only get half the airtime you think you getting because you got a device! Who stole my phone Vodacom?????

This month starts. Incoming calls all show unknown number. My app says I am on a standard smart L.

So after all the calls. Going to the store. Vodacom cannot get my conrtact correct

What they can do is ***** my money.

Beware people. It is impossible to speak to anyone in authority at Vodacom or anyone who has any idea what they are doing.

If you do not pay they will simply cut your line which unfortunately I need to run my business.

I do not know what else to do besides consult with an attorney to get my money back and get my number released to port to any other network.

Vodacom is by far the most *********** company I have ever dealt with. They are also one of the most expensive in the world when it comes to call and data charges.
